Your guide

Led by James Morgan, Divemaster

James is an SDI / TDI certified Divemaster based in South Florida and a founding member of the SoFlo Divers community. A veteran who brings the same discipline to dive planning that he brought to service, he leads every Elite Dive Solutions trip with a simple goal: a safe, well briefed dive that you will want to do again.

  • Planned dives. Site research, tides, currents and weather checked before you arrive.
  • Thorough briefings. Entry, route, depths, signals and a clear turn plan.
  • Small groups. You get attention underwater, not a crowd.
  • Local knowledge. From Broward reefs to the North Florida springs.
Before you dive

What you need

Guided dives are for certified divers. Safety comes first on every trip.

Certification

A recognized scuba certification (SDI, TDI, PADI, SSI, NAUI or similar). Some dives need Advanced or specialty training.

Recent experience

If it has been a year or more since your last dive, we will plan a refresher or an easy shore dive first.

Medical fitness

Every diver completes a standard medical questionnaire. Some answers need a doctor's sign off before diving.

Gear

Bring your own or rent locally. Boat dives require your own or rented full kit including a dive computer.

Request your date

Send us your request and we will reply with availability, pricing and the full plan, usually within a day.

FAQ

Good questions

Do I need to be certified?

Yes, for guided dives. If you are not certified yet, choose "Help me get certified" and we will connect you with instructors at SoFlo Divers for a try dive or a full course.

How much does a guided dive cost?

It depends on the site, group size and whether a boat charter is involved. We send a clear price with your confirmation before anything is booked.

What if the weather is bad?

Safety decides. If conditions are not right we will move your dive to another day or another site, at no extra cost.

Can you dive the caverns at the springs?

Cavern zones are only for divers with cavern training. Every certified diver can enjoy the open water basins, which are stunning on their own.

Do you provide gear?

We will recommend trusted local shops for rentals and tank fills, and help you put together what you need for each dive.
